Since its founding in 1984, Florida Crew has steadily grown over the last 25 years. Today we are the largest sport club on the University of Florida campus, employing four coaches, training nearly ninety rowers, and operating out of our own boathouse on Newnan’s Lake.
Our mission is to promote the sport of rowing within the University of Florida. The club is composed of both women's and men's teams, divided into varsity and novice levels. Our athletes compete in regattas across the country and are coached on the principles of collegiate rowing in a positive and competitive atmosphere.
Recently, the team has seen phenomenal growth, both in our athletes and in the quality of our program. We are always looking for talented and dedicated athletes to join us in winning races with a strong work ethic, tradition, and professionalism.
