Florida Crew - Support

As a club sport, Florida Crew receives a modest budget from the division of Recreational Sports, about $13,000 annually. While this amount covers basic expenses, competitive rowing equipment is expensive. Each year, the team is hard-pressed when it comes to updating its aging fleet of boats, ergometers, and oars. Additionally, the team must rebuild its deteriorating boathouse. The majority of the funds raised by Florida Crew come from apparel sales, the Row Across Florida letter drive, Family and Alumni Weekend, and working concession stands. The team thanks all of the donors for their support and all the rowers who worked long hours at the Gator football and basketball stands.
